Client Organizer & Intake

Fill this once and download both of your accountant's forms, filled in and ready to send. Values you enter here stay in this browser. Nothing is uploaded until you ask for a PDF, and nothing is stored on the server after it builds one.

A Personal information

Values in red are guesses. Click into any of them to confirm and the red clears. Your browser's autofill will offer name, address, phone and email once you start typing.

Verify: school district is a guess based on the Lake Highlands area, and depends on your exact street. Filing status is set to married filing jointly.

B Dependents & household

These names also fill the household member list on the intake form, so you only enter them once. The organizer has room for three; a fourth and beyond print on a continuation sheet.

C Estimated tax payments

Texas has no personal income tax, so the state columns are usually blank. Leave them empty unless you paid estimates to another state.

D General information

E Income information

F Business information

The first five fields also fill the business column on the intake form.

Records on hand for:

G Deductions

These print on the organizer's itemized list but have no amount box there. Enter amounts you want your preparer to see:

Itemized deductions, do these apply to you or your spouse?

Documentation I'm bringing:

These five print on the organizer's "Information to Bring" list. The three below are for your own packing list and print on the notes page.

Miscellaneous

I Intake form extras

These print on the accountant's intake form only.

Left unchecked, a saved data file skips the routing and account numbers. They still print on the intake PDF. Whatever you save is a plain text file on your own machine, so keep it where you'd keep a tax return.

J Notes for your preparer

Free text. This prints on its own page at the end of the organizer, so anything unusual this year belongs here.
